Ubiquiti-specialised · Costa Rica
Networks built for the way Costa Rica lives and works.
We design, install and manage UniFi networks for homes, villas and rentals, and small enterprises. One independent team, from the first site visit to ongoing care.
Built around the place, not the box.
Pick the kind of site you look after.
Homes
Whole-home coverage that disappears into the house.
Open-plan living, thick concrete walls, a rancho by the pool and a studio at the back. Coverage is planned room by room, with equipment placed where it works and hidden where it can be.
- Ceiling-mounted access points placed from a survey, not a guess
- One gateway for internet failover, guest WiFi and family controls
- Structured cabling to TVs, cameras and workspaces
- Wired links between buildings wherever the site allows
Villas & vacation rentals
Guest WiFi that does not need you on the phone.
A rental needs a network that behaves when nobody technical is on site: guest and owner networks kept apart, a welcome portal if you want one, and remote visibility so problems are seen before a guest reports them.
- Separate guest, owner and staff networks
- Coverage planned for terraces, pool areas and outbuildings
- Remote monitoring and management between stays
- Property-manager access with the right permissions
Small enterprises
A network you could hand to an auditor.
Offices, clinics, hospitality and workshops. Segmented networks, PoE for phones and cameras, and a gateway that handles more than one internet line. Everything labelled, everything documented, nothing dependent on one person's memory.
- Separate networks for staff, guests, point-of-sale and devices
- Failover across two internet providers
- PoE switching for phones, cameras and door access
- Documentation handed over at completion
How an installation runs.
Four steps, each one agreed before the next starts.
-
Assess
A site visit, or a walkthrough on video if you are abroad. We look at the building, the internet lines available in your area, where people actually sit, and what the current setup gets wrong.
-
Design
A written plan: equipment list, placement marked on your floor plan, cabling routes, and a plain statement of what the network will and will not do. You approve it before anything is ordered.
-
Install
Cabling, mounting, a rack or wall box, configuration and testing, with the work left tidy. Timing is agreed around guests, staff or construction.
-
Hand over
A walk-through of the finished network, documentation, admin access in your name, and the option of ongoing managed care.
After the install, the network still needs someone.
Managed care is the ongoing part of the service: the network reports to us, and we keep it current, so you are not the one troubleshooting from another country or another job.
- Monitoring
- Outages, failing devices and unusual traffic show up on our side, often before anyone on site notices.
- Updates
- Firmware and configuration changes are tested and applied on a schedule, not whenever a device decides.
- Guest access
- Guest passwords rotated between stays, portals adjusted for the season, access removed when staff change.
- Remote support
- Most fixes happen remotely. When a visit is needed, it is scheduled rather than argued about.
- Changes
- New cameras, a new office, a second internet line: planned into the existing design instead of bolted on.
- Documentation
- Diagrams, device lists and credentials kept current, and handed over in full if you ever move on.
Managed care is a monthly arrangement sized to the site. Scope and terms are agreed in writing before it starts.
Independent, specialised, local.
One platform, known deeply
We work with Ubiquiti's UniFi line because one well-understood platform beats a cupboard of mixed brands. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with Ubiquiti Inc.
Designed for Costa Rican conditions
Humidity, salt air, concrete walls, power that flickers and internet providers that vary by canton. The design accounts for all of it, including what to do when a line goes down.
You own the network
Equipment, accounts and documentation are in your name from day one. If you change providers, managers or installers, nothing is held hostage.
Start with an assessment.
Tell us about the property or business and we will come back with next steps. No obligation, and no equipment ordered until you approve a design.
